Frederick School - Music in the Parks
 This past weekend, May 12th, the Frederick Cadet Band and Honors Choir performed at the annual Music in the Parks Festival. The Cadet Band received a 1st place and a rating of Superior. The Honors Choir received a 1st place with a rating of Excellent. Mr. Rivera and Mr. Mulder are very proud of their efforts.

District Registrar Summer Hours
Beginning June 11, 2012, the District Registrar's Office will be open Monday & Thursday from 6:30AM-3:00PM, and Tuesday & Wednesday from 7:30AM-4:00PM. Please visit the D46 Registration webpage for more information.

Operations and Maintenance Notice
Please note that on May 19, 2012 the district will be spraying herbicides for broadleaf weed control. This will be at all seven schools, district office, and ISC. The rain date will be June 2, 2012. If you have any further questions please contact Keith Grinnell.

Incoming 5th Grade Parent Meeting
Parents/Guardians of fourth grade students should plan on attending one of two Fifth Grade Orientation programs at Frederick School on May 22, 2012. The program will be held twice from 9:15-10:15AM OR 7:00-8:00PM. Frederick School is located at 595 Frederick Road in Grayslake. Please Download the information.

Congratulations to D46 Destination ImagiNation Team Sizzling Bacon
Congratulations to the D46 Destination ImagiNation Team Sizzling Bacon on your State Championship win! Woodview and Prairieview students on team Sizzling Bacon will now advance to the Global Tournament held in Tennessee. Funds are needed to help send these students to the Global Tournament. Community Pre-School Program
CCSD 46 will be accepting applications for Preschool students from the D46 community for the 2012-2013 school year. Students do not need to qualify for the Early Childhood or Preschool for All programs, but will be tuition based and integrated into our Preschool for All classes. SUMMER PROGRAMS
Summer Academy 2012
Summer Academy registration has begun! Summer Academy will run from June 11-July 3rd this year. Classes will run from 8:15 am- 11:55 am Monday-Thursday. Registration fees are $80 per course if before April 27th. Fees raise to $85 per course after April 27th. There are many classes being offered, including remedial (second helping) classes and enrichment courses. Sign up your child for a fun-filled summer of learning!

ELL Summer School 2012
Register your child for ELL Summer School now through May 14th. ELL Summer School is open to students in grades k-8 who are currently participating in English Language Learner, TBE, TPI classes in District 46. ELL Summer School runs from June 11-July 3rd, 2012

Adelante Summer School 2012
Register your child for Adelante Summer School now through May 14th. Adelante Summer School is open to children entering a District 46 kindergarten class next school year and who need a "Second Language Jump Start." Adelante Summer School runs from June 11-July 3rd, 2012
